Terms of Service
Effective October 31, 2026
These terms apply to the use of collinssystems.com and the services provided by Collins Systems, a sole proprietorship operated by William Collins in Sacramento, California. Clients also sign a separate service agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the service agreement controls.
The service
Collins Systems builds and manages AI phone receptionists that answer calls for local service businesses, collect caller details, and send summaries to the business. The receptionist is an automated assistant. It may occasionally mishear or miss information, and it does not quote prices, diagnose problems or promise arrival times.
Fees and cancellation
Setup and monthly fees are set out in each Client's service agreement. Monthly service can be cancelled with 30 days' written notice. Setup fees are non-refundable once the build has started.
Client responsibilities
Clients provide accurate business information, are responsible for returning calls and serving their customers, and are responsible for any notices to callers required by law, such as call recording disclosures.
SMS terms
Program: Collins Systems client notifications. Clients who opt in receive text messages with call summaries, account notifications and support messages related to their Collins Systems service.
How to opt in: by checking the text message consent box on our client sign-up form during onboarding.
Message frequency varies based on your call volume. Message and data rates may apply.
To stop receiving messages, reply STOP at any time. You will receive one message confirming you've been unsubscribed. For help, reply HELP or email william@collinssystems.com.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Collins Systems is not liable for lost jobs, missed calls, lost profits or indirect damages arising from the service. Our total liability is limited to the fees the Client paid in the three months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above shows when they last changed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
